I have always loved photography, both my dad and uncle messed a lot with theirs. I remember dad use to turn our kitchen into a dark room and I would join him at times.

It was a lot of fun. ( I miss him more now... )

Growing up, I got caught up so much in our daily lives I forgot all about it. Now that I'm 43 and both my daughters 12, 14.

I feel I have time on my side again, thus I picked up my first DSLR Nov 2009, in time for my sister in law's wedding.

I have not been able to put it down since, and all the positive responses from all of you, family, friends and 'flickrians' who have been visiting my photostream have given me great encouragement.
