Not a connoisseur of fine art, I do occasionally find a deep interest with certain works, or select few artists, seemingly coinciding with the art saying, “If you see something you like, buy it”. Deep earth tones, sharp crisp contrasts, spectacular light / shadows, and apparently, an eye for composition is what lead me to becoming a proud owner of the artwork and flair of Harold Hall. Visitors to my home had flattering comments with regard to the 3 pieces of artwork on display in my foyer, which come from the Arizona series and include; Our Lady of the Canyon, Light Rays & Tumbleweed, and Twin light rays which rounds off the theme nicely. As subscriber to the Harold Hall FLICKR account, I view his latest works as often as they are posted, and as often, find it difficult to select my next favorite purchase. In comparison to recent art festivals attended, I find Mr. Hall’s work to be competitively priced, and more often than not, of higher aesthetic quality. I believe many will find the works enticing as I had, enough to consider purchase.
