I consider myself very lucky to grow up and live in the beautiful country of Australia. Sparkling cities, sweeping blue skies, squeaky beaches, ancient mountain ranges with deserts, savannah and tall forests whose inhabitants are strikingly colourful, vocal and highly endemic. My photostream is my journey through urban, country and natural environs shooting landscape, nature and whatever else takes my interest.

I was an early adopter of digital photography buying a Kodak DC240 for holiday shots and parties in the late 90s. In early 2009 I gave up playing World of Warcraft and needed a serious hobby. I bought a Canon 50D and 50mm lens the rest is history.

When I'm not out photographing I'm fussing over my bonsai, orchids, roses or vegetable garden.
