I bought my first DSLR camera in spring 2005 after I spent several years using my CANON Ixus. Finally I can try all the great things that I always dreamed of ;)

Appart from Photography which seems to develope into my number 1 hobby I got engaged past December. In the meantime we got married! It was a fantastic time and eventually I will post some pictures. In parallel I try to finish my PhD in biochemistry and help to run the local Handball club. All this keeps me quiet busy...

My equipment for the moment consists of a CANON 20D, EF-S 17-85, EF 50mm f/1.8 II, EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro, Speedlite EX430 and a tripod ;) Latest addition was a EF-S 10-22 in order to shoot pictures of our miniature island in the Maledives ;)

I just realised that with more equipment my output really went down in quality... not quantity actually. Hope, I'll produce some more interesting pictures in the future.
