I do have some dark room experience and take snapshots from the age of 8 starting with a Kodak Box camera (Kodak invented the slogan "Everybody take a snapshot" or "To use the Brownie to capture moments in time and to shoot photos without being concerned with producing perfect images." already in 1919).
