(2018) Next year I am working for 30 years in a local court in the Netherlands. And although it is the most interesting job I can imagine, after so many years I needed a new challenge. And that I found in the photography. What started with making photos of family and friends, developped to travelling on my own to Lissabon, Barcelona, Madrid, Dublin, London … with the only aim to look around all the day with the camera as my mate. The excitement to fixate a whole life in a split second is every time there when I make photos and watch them afterwards. Thanks to Henri Senders (www.henrisenders.nl) I learned a lot about modelling photography. As making street photos is a matter of being alert for that one moment, working with a model is like working in a laboratory; I love both ways of discovering everytime again the uniqueness and authentic beauty of the persons I make photographical contact with.

(update november 2025: After 11 years I am at the end of my photography. It costs me much effort to post more photos. I am partly retired and make more streetphotos while visiting cities. My idea is often that they are less interesting for you than my model photos.
