there is a clean precision to hanny's photographs. one senses a fierce intelligence behind her eye, animated by an oblique sarcastic humor that sometimes leaks out. her control over combinations of form and color stand out, and are a delight to follow.

Sure enough, I wasn't disappointed. Her stream is filled with colorful surprises, spectacular abstracts, and brilliant compositions. If she only received her first digital a few years ago, her exponential and meteoric capability will surpass stardom and go directly to universdom. Hanny's stream is one of the most outstanding on Flickr. Her ability to capture both light and colour is second to none. I always enjoy browsing through and never get tired of going back for a second look. Not only is she a wonderful photographer and artist, but she is also immensely kind and supportive.
HannyB makes me look at the day-to-day world through different eyes. She inspires me to take out my camera and try again.

I don't eulogise, (whatever that means) very easily, but in Hanny's case it isn't difficult. For anyone to have learned how to use a digital camera, refined her technique and shared with us so many interesting photos in such a short period of time, is indeed, a marvellous feat. Thats enough.
