…and so I’m going to write my first testimonial, and it’s for you Hamim ! I met your shots randomly surfing on flickr…still, I can remember those black crows ( flic.kr/p/9bg4R1 )…but they where not simply birds…they where evocating something deeper: there was a history on the background, there was a Country…there was a culture… It is Bangladesh… I knew nothing about this Country, but I was courious to follow what Hamim was posting ...and the reason of that… So little by little I met a man and his Cause: SHADHINOTA ….I met a man and his Country …I met a man and his life: Bangladesh ! His shots show me who he is, and even if I’vent jet met him in the real life (but, who knows in the future…), I’m sure He is a great person, with a deep sensibility and a big heart ! He makes me love Bangladesh, and start to think about this Nation… One thing I regret: not to be more close to him so I can enjoy his lessons on how to take photos…(I'm sure it would be really usefull for me and funny too) Well…this want to be my simple way to say to you: Hamim, I’m honoured to have you on my flickr’s friend !!! Maj. Hamim Chowdhury (5 9 5 0 3 6) is a human being, man with heart and an excellent photographer. I first met him in flickr, then over telephone and then meet face to face. He starts photography out of fun for killing time but the passion for photography gradually turn him into a professionals. So far I found he has wonderful eyes to see the things and equally rich in photographic grammer than many of us, specially me. I learnt many techical things from him. He is emotional and all his shots are like his sons and daughters. He is a versatile geneus in phhotography; he shoots many different subjects, sunset, sunrise, portrait, profile, landscape, events, macros and many more and he maintains well arranged sets on every aspect. If you ply your boat through his stream you will not be disappointed but will discover the gems laying scattered throughout both the banks of his stream. I wish his dreams come true.

I met Hamim on Flickr hardly a month ago and within this short period of time , I do realise that here in our midst , there is a photographer of exceptional quality and ability . After visiting his photostream , the viewer has to agree with me that to Hamim , everything to do with photography is important and exciting . The lasting impression one gets is that he likes pressing the button to make simple images of high impact and with no tricks . What's in his head and what motivates him when he fires the shutter ? To me , it must be his understanding of the subject . The joy to Hamim must surely be the freedom photography gives to him to explore something thoroughly . Good examples will be the photos he captured of his community and country of which he has such a great love and affinity . I only wish him the best in his future endeavor with the camera and shall remain a strong advocate of his style of imaging .
