Hakijamii (Economic and Social Rights Centre) was founded in 2004 to empower and support local communities in advocating for their rights. The main office is located in Nairobi, Kenya.

Hakijamii's mission is to strengthen grassroot peoples’ capacity to effectively participate in advocating for the progressive realization of economic, social and cultural rights.
