I'm a physician scientist by day. I love to travel and take pictures during my limited breaks. I got into photography because during my PhD, I did a lot of microscopy work, which is really just taking pictures of very small things. Microscopy skills translated well in terms of basic principles to photography.

I often travel with my husband Bob, who is very indulgent of my picture-taking by doing most of the driving on our road trips, so I can demand to pull over and take pictures at any time :).
