Film photography is my first love, using the beautiful elements of film cameras coupled with the diversity of light yet I also use digital capture, using extras like lights, software and fancy bits...

I started in the industry as a traditional darkroom printer at a Lancashire newspaper and progressed within professional imaging companies as darkroom technician, regional lab manager, E-6 imaging specialist to freelance photographer.

With a First Class BA(Hons) Degree in Photographic Media I produce fine art projects, exhibition work, commercial portraits and occasional weddings.
