I am an attorney in Texas. Previously I studied law at St. Mary's University, and I was a graduate student of English literature at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where I also took photos for the student newspaper, The Paisano. My photography has appeared in the San Antonio Current and was featured in vol. 3 of the Sagebrush Review, UTSA's literary journal.

I've always had the perfect opening sentence for a Mailer-esque Vietnam War biography of this guy were he to get behind such a story: "Others who marched east before trudged boldly through Charlie's bush, but when it came to Cambodia, no one else could hack it like Hackett." Okay, so that was damn terrible. So was Cambodia. I've only known Clay for a short time, but I can assure you that the man is an epoch of true sophistication and class unto himself, his family, and the rest of us lo-fi, tertiary characters. Kudos to him and his fast-rising photographic work - I'm ready for the (r)evolution. :-) "Send word back to base - expect good news." Here's to you, buddy.
