Nearly 65 years ago the gift of a Kodak Hawkeye camera stirred my interest in photography and I was a Cub Scout trying to earn merit badges. There was a Polaroid period for me during my teens, but my desire to take photos took off after cell phones began to improve their camera component.

The small size of cellphones, instant upload thru the internet, and convenience of use has made photography my best way to preserve memories from daily life and my travels around the places where I’ve lived or visited. Hopefully, my eye for good shots has kept up with the improved technology of my cellphone tools.
