Just a guy with a camera and a lot of enthusiasm, trying hard to find his way... and I'm gradually getting there.

Mostly I'm here to learn, there's so much talent and inspiration on here... pointers and guidance always appreciated, feedback welcome, constructive criticism accepted!

I was very into photography as a kid... but life got in the way. Maybe it's a 30something crisis, but friends are encouraging me to claim something back... and for now this is it!

I'm armed mostly with Canon ... PowerShot G6 to keep in the rucksack... an EOS 350D also for carting around, a 5D MkII for serious work-related stuff and my old film dinosaur, a Canon EOS 1000F... more film shots will be creeping in in future!

The camera which got me interested first of all was my grandfather's 1935 Rolleiflex Twin Lens Reflex... I'm very excited that it's in a usable condition and hope to start putting some work from that camera in here in the near future
