I'm an avid birder and amateur odonatologist. I've been involved in bird surveys in southwest Montana for several years, and I am currently a member of the Montana Bird Records Committee.
For the past twelve years I have also been doing research on the distribution of Montana's Odonata - developing dot maps, checklists and field guides, as well as contributing observation data and anything else to further the study of these fascinating invertebrates within our state.
When time allows, I spend a bit of time flipping flies in search of the trout residing in western Montana's beautiful lakes and streams. If I can bird, chase odes and flyfish, all in the span of a day - I'm in heaven. But then again, if you're an outdoor enthusiast living in Montana, how could you not be in bliss?
