I've had a love for the mountains and wilderness all my adult life. My interest in landscape and nature photography has evolved with my mountain travels and experiences. Photography is one way for me to share my passion for the high and the wild and to take people to special places. Although a lot of other material does catch my photographic eye, I am always shooting outdoors using the available light - natural or artificial.

The line separating photography and digital artwork isn't obvious. Some may object to anything other than minor digital manipulation, especially with landscape or nature photos. But terminating the creative process with the press of the shutter button seems arbitrary and I prefer to follow my instincts.
