I was a child (and teen) in a time when we played outdoors and made up our own entertainment. The exception to being outside was children's books and the wonderful world of Disney. These early experiences shaped a strong sense of curiosity and wonder.

Photography was a natural path to follow as an adult, first with analog SLRs and later digital capture. Failures, limited successes and determination led me to lots of learning, both formal classroom and self-generated - a process which never ends.

I joined Flickr in 2010 to be a part of a global community devoted to this art form. I love seeing the world through the eyes of others...it informs, entertains and inspires me. This is possibly one of the best things to come from digital capture - a bringing together of people who might never have met. If you're reading this, thanks for being part of the journey.
