Hi, I'm georgia.

Nice to meet you... Did I mention I'm a bit socially awkward?

I'm a bit strange. And by a bit I mean pretty messed up.

Don't quite understand myself. But photography helps me to explore the various corners of my mind.

I love it with a passion.

And I don't love it just because I get to capture a moment in time with the press of a button. I love it because it makes all the whims of my imagination possible. I love it because I love things, expressions, places, dreams.

I love it because it has the power to to nearly anything.

I know that I'm most likely not good enough.. but I hope to study photography at RMIT next year- so hopefully if I get in I'll improve quite a bit.

anyhow..

Lets make a deal ;)

If you ad me as a contact (maybe send me a message as I get a fair few ads) I'll ad you back? Okay ? hehe

when i first encountered g. wiggs' sub-marine photographs i was struck by the technical perfection that she employed in the visualisation of her often fantastic and surreal sujets. georgia's underwater arrangements, with their beautiful use of colours, especially reds against turquoises, and her elaborate use of photoshop opened up a new window through which to look at water. since the start of the, soon to be world-famous, "365"-series not a day passes without me wondering what tomorrow's picture will be like... in fact the "365"-series with a mix of cindy shermanish self exploration and a surrealism that is nothing short of what man ray or duchamp had to offer their contemporaries, turns every day into a little x-mas. thanks for all the presents (and keep them coming) :-)
