Born and raised in the city of Boston. Retired Health care worker and amateur photographer. Photography keeps me grounded. I'm constantly being inspired and encouraged by the many members of the Flickr community. Some of my photos are just quick cell phone snaps, but mostly, I've been using my trusty Nikon D-5200 DSLR

I've been shooting photographs of the world and people around me since the age of 13 when I got a Kodak Instamatic camera as a gift. I then moved up to a Pentax K 1000 SLR and eventually to a DSLR. I feel that photography is a journal of life that can not be recaptured and presents itself only for that one time and opportunity - don't waste it.

Still photographs are the most powerful weapon in the world.”
