Gurbir Singh Brar has a feel and rhythm of the beat of the Indian heart that exists and pounds so thumpingly loud but most people including photographers miss it by a mile. His is a labour of love of the great traditions of the Sikh people. His rendition of the Hola Mohalla and the life and times of the NIhang Sikhs and Punjab in general are etched deeply and forever on any photographer who has ever gone through his photostream. I have, and now forever the image of Nihang Sikhs I have seen over the years stands totally life like and freshly etched in my mind and conscious being.
