I have a passing (yet steadily growing) interest in photography, but I really enjoy browsing flickr.

Originally, I got into flickr as a way to share photos of my son. I'd say a good 85% of my stream is dedicated to him. Lately though, I've taken to learning more about digital photography and editing. I no longer essentially do file dumps and am more selective about what I upload. I see my stream as a type of journal of my learning process. I almost always try and put in a few words about what I've done to the picture so that others might learn something.

I'm into cycling. I've been road riding since I graduated college and could afford a decent road bike. Specialized Allez. I have a new frame that I have yet to build up... who has the time when you're spending all your free moments on flickr?

I played Ultimate for 4 years in college at Towson U. and a couple of years of summer rec leagues afterwards. Unfortunately, my work sometimes requires travel on short notice, so I've pretty much stopped playing because I couldn't commit to it. Work comes first. Speaking of which, I work at the Department of Justice in DC. Cool, huh?
