Hi, I'm a amateur photography enthusiast from Singapore.

I started my love for photography from chasing metro trains and train stations as a railfan with a simple Sony DSC-WX7 Point and Shoot camera many years ago. Gradually, I have been able to progressively advance to a Canon EOS 600D DSLR, then to a Canon EOS 6D DSLR, and now finally a Canon EOS R6 Mark II MILR mirrorless that I am currently using.

I like to take pictures and shots of places that I went to around the world and my surroundings, like buildings and landscape etc. I also do street photography from time to time. I do believe that behind every shot, lies a story that can be told either through the shot itself, or alongside it. I have a preference to shoot in black and white though lately I have pushed myself to shoot more in colour. To me, black and white photography brings a sense of romanticism and a nod to the past.

I have also enjoyed using good old-fashioned film cameras when I was very young. I have recently returned to shooting film photography as well with the Minolta X-700 35mm film SLR, and loved the challenge of really taking your time to compose your shot, as 35mm film's typical 36 exposures only will very often force one to slow down and compose carefully.
