Gülcan Tunççekiç (8.1.1942-19.7.1992) Turkish Prima Ballerina, was a student of Dame Ninette de Valois.

She was an active dancer between the years 1961 - 1981, worked with many valuable teachers including Molly Lake and Travis Kemp.

She represented Turkish Ballet in many international events and attended many stages including Royal Ballet School in London.

Although many years have passed after her loss, her lyrical performances still has a special place in the audience`s heart.
