Thanks for checking my profile... Uhm, let's start with a quote
"Vision is everything, and the photographic journey is about discovering your vision, allowing it to evolve, change, and find expressions through your camera and the print. It is not something you find and come to terms with once and for all; it is something that changes and grows with you.... You can spend a lifetime chasing your vision, learning not only to see with more clarity, but to express that vision in stronger and stronger ways. As long as we're alive and intereacting with life, the world, and the people around us, we'll have something to say. And as we learn and practice our craft, we'll have stronger ways - better ways, even - of expressing it."
~ Within the Frame: The Journey of Photographic Vision
November 2008
I recently got into photography and i absolutely love it!I'm constantly trying to improve on my pictures, so comments and or suggestions are more than appreciated, the only thing I'd ask is that if you are going to comment, actually comment on the picture and NOT ust paste one of those awards on there, as they tend to be very sparkly, colorful and somewhat annoying. With that out of the way, i must say that I have really enjoyed being able to learn from other photographers that I am following on Flickr, and if I end up mimicking your style, please don't take that as me trying to jump on your bandwagon. I strongly believe that if we are to improve our art, we need to copy those who we look up to and mold part of their art into our own style. With that said, I look forward to hearing from all of you.
My 365 Project January 2010
So I started a 365 Project just like many other people have. I'm not really sure I'm going for a theme yet, there are a lot of shots I want to try so I will most likely get them out of my system first, then move on to a more steady theme. I do try to take inspiration from other photographers, i.e Dustin DIaz, Roger Lim, Stephen Poff the original Mr. 365, Joey, Erin Caton, and Paul Armstrong to name a few, check them out, they have some amazing shots. Sorry to say that I did not finish my 365 for 2010 but I will make a comeback in 2011...
Current 365 Project
Let's try this again shall we... Looking forward to this 365, 2011 is going to be a good year for it. As of right now, I'm not really sure what my "style/theme" will be but I look forward to finding out. As always, comments are welcome as long as they don't come in the form of Flickr awards, I much rather read what you actually think of my pictures. Happy shooting everyone.
