Refrigeration Tech. who enjoys photography, snow and skateboarding, music, camping, reading, movies, cooking, etc.. I've been taking B&W film pictures all my life. My mom had a small darkroom in the basement that she showed me how to use in grade school. I did my own developing and printing there ever since. Had my house robbed at 22 (34 now) and all my gear was stolen. I fell out of photography for awhile since buying new gear is expensive. I was a hold out on the digital end for a very long time. Finally got a digital canon rebel and was amazed at the results. I didn't and have been kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Film....free, developing....free. No more chemicals to mix, funky smells from toners and stop baths or hanging out alone in a small dark hole for hours. The only thing that does cost money is the actual print. So, my goal now (crazy as it my seem), is to take a picture a day for the rest of my life. Don't know how it will work out but i'll die trying.....
