First and foremost a Dad. Jen and Frank have been for the last 18 years my whole world. I find as my son is the only one left in the nest and is a senior this year I need to start finding other things to occupy my time. So back into Photography.

I have always enjoyed taking pictures and have recently (two years ago) graduated from 35mm to digital. I am an amateur in the most basic sense I am still trying to figure out this whole F stop thing :) but making progress and moving away from "Auto" mode into the more creative modes...

Hardware:

-Canon 30D

-Canon EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM - Love this lens and is on my camera almost all the time,

-Canon EF 50MM f/1.4 USM II. LOVE this lens aswell its been great for band shots

-Canon EF 70-200 F2.8L USM and I am IN LOVE with it!! I wonder if I should have gone with the IS but so far so good.

-Ok this one is neat though - X2 Teleconverter.

-Canon EF 17-40 f/4L USM. This will hopefully be the last lens I buy for a while.

Software:

Nope don’t believe in it. The only software I use is the canon software to pull the photos out of my cameras flash card. I am not preaching if you use HDR go for it I just think doctoring what one sees is not what the eye saw. I like beauty in its natural state and not 'altered'. Hey that is me..
