When one looks into Guido Musch’s photostream – the saying that “age doesn’t matter” goes to mind – at Seventeen years of age, he is - and I say it with conviction - one of FLICKR’S BEST. His gallery is a doorway to a realm of untainted beauty, and perfection is his twin. His photos are extremely well thought of, executed and processed. Every single post is a craft on its own, an art to be marveled at for hours and hours. Our man Guido here posseses in my view an unusually mature talent, an amazing artists appreciation and 'eye' for someone who is still so young (at the time I write this at least!). To think that he has hopefully the vast majority of his life remaining to improve is just phenomenal. He has an ability to put a spin on any subject to turn it into the spectacular. Ik heb Guido's foto's leren kennen via een van de Nederlandse fotogroepen. Hij springt er duidelijk uit. Tot onze verbazing bleek het om iemand van jonge leeftijd te gaan, in het bezit van een standaard camera. Een natuurlijke beheersing van diverse technieken, maar bovenal is Guido in mijn optiek in het bezit van het OOG. Het uitzonderlijke vermogen om dingen te zien die anderen niet zien, terwijl je er elke dag voorbijloopt. Iets wat grote schilders ook hadden. Nadat ik hem een keer een vraag heb gesteld, waren we prompt contacten, en bleek ik een zeer trouwe bekijker en commentator van mij bescheiden hobby stream te hebben. Hieruit blijkt een bovengemiddelde interesse en aandacht voor andere mensen. Dat vind ik het veelbelovende aan je, de combinatie van talenten. Ik hoop dat je je talenten verder blijft ontwikkelen, en vooral blijft samenvoegen zodat ze elkaar versterken. Dan zou je je best wel eens tot een grote kunstenaar kunnen ontwikkelen. Ik blijf je in ieder geval aandachtig volgen.

But he also happens to be good at B&W images too :) Everytime I upload a picture to Flickr, he is first to comment, and he is always complimentary, I honestly cannot fault this guy in any way; great photographer, great guy, fantastic photostream.

I've met Guido on Flickr only 6 months ago while he was at the age of 16. He must be seventeen by the time you read this but what I'm getting at is that this young man at the age of 17 displays such talent in compositioning and treatment of the technically proficient captured photos that you wonder where this young man will stand in the art of photography a few years from now. He maybe 17 but already he's not only technically proficient but he also shows a maturity and control over the postprocessing of photos that is quite rare for a man his age. He will never go over the top with his HDR photos, he uses that technique exactly the way it should be used. And besides that: Guido is such a great and nice contact to have on Flickr, one you can always rely on. Watch this young man, his photos maybe hanging in galleries and on your wall within a few years! - Joel
