I'm a 30-something geek who lives in Perth, Western Australia, and uses photography as an outlet for various creative urges. I also enjoy the attention I get from flickr. I'm a self-confessed view whore.

I have a few photographic projects in progress at the moment. For the last year or so I've been doing a lot of night photography in Perth and country WA. In particular, I'm famous among my friends for my hobby of hanging around CBH terminals late at night.

I've recently started exploring infrared in a way that emulates some of the motion-blur effects that I get at night.

I've come to realise that I hate street photography. If I want to see life on the street, I'd rather walk down the street than look at photos. And I've tried walking around with the camera hoping to find interesting subjects - I never do.

But I love the opposite approach: create something interesting and photograph it.

In the past, I've experimented with high speed photography, but recently I haven't been inspired to play with it anymore.
