HI ALL, DUE TO RECENT EVENTS INVOLVING MY HEALTH, I'VE NOT BEEN AS ACTIVE A PHOTOGRAPHER AS I ONCE WAS. BUT PLEASE DO NOT LET THAT STOP YOU FROM ENJOYING MY WORK!

I am an amateur photographer, and I enjoy taking pictures of living things. I am not into landscapes as I feel they're not challenging enough. Taking pictures of animals and insects, you never know what they're going to do, so it's more challenging.

THE MAP BELOW IS NOT A VISITED COUNTRIES MAP. IT'S A MAP SHOWING FLICKR USERS WHO'VE VIEWED MY PHOTOS!

Sometimes, pressing the shutter at the right time doesn't yield good enough results. Some of my photos have been taken at what I thought was the right time, but when the button was pressed, the actual shot was a split-second too early or too late. Consider my most popular photo "Rocket doing something with his face...". I was attempting to snap a picture of my greyhound yawning, so when his mouth was open, I pressed the shutter. The picture captured not what I saw, but rather one of the funniest dog faces you'll ever see!

I am also an experienced computer troubleshooter. I also like to be different from others on Flickr, so I created a Photostream Set. Yes, a Photostream Set. Click here to view My Photostream Arranged by Date Taken.

I also figured out a solution to a problem that affected me and at least one other FlickR member. We had been using IE6 or later (I use IE 7 beta 3). When viewing photos with notes, the note boxes turned white, blocking the view of the picture. This was frustrating as you had to constantly mouse off and over to read the note and understand what the note was referring to. So after a while, I posted a FlickrBugs thread asking for help on this problem. At the time, I thought it was a FlickrBug. But after several weeks of no answers, I decided to jump head first into the problem. And it paid off for the two of us who experienced the problem. It took five minutes of sleuthing in the Internet Options and trial & error to find the actual option that caused the problem. Even Kevin (a staff member) was impressed (Thanks Kevin!). If you are experiencing this problem or want to experience what I'm talking about, go here.

But I'm currently unemployed after a two-year stint as a summer worker for a school district...

Thanks to the people who commented, faved, or otherwise viewed my photos! People from over 35 countries have looked at my photos!

Another way I'm different on Flickr is that I've just started tagging my photos with the usernames of people who've commented or faved my photos. Not only am I able to keep track of which photos a user faved/commented, the user can also keep track of those photos as well.
