Our Girl Scouts are from the entire Washington metropolitan area, including Washington DC; in Virginia: the city of Alexandria and Arlington, Clarke, Fairfax, Fauquier, Frederick, Loudoun, Page, Prince William, Shenandoah and Warren counties; in Maryland: Allegany, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince George's, St. Mary's and Washington counties; and in West Virginia: Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Mineral and Morgan counties.

As of October 13, 2009, GSCNC has a combined girl and adult membership of over 90,000!

We are thrilled to reach this milestone with membership that consists of 63,000 girl members and 27,000 adult members. We serve girls through wide ranging activities in 4,900 troops with the help of dedicated volunteers- women and men who give their time, talent and energy to Girl Scouting.
