Creepy Christmas (public)
The world goes a bit crazy at that time of year. This is the place to put all your photos of scary santas, rabid raindeers, sinister snowmen, gnarly gnomes, frightening fairies and any other terrifying or ghastly or downright ugly christmas-related horrors.

Think sci-fi (both past and present), think silver, think astronauts/cosmonauts and spaceships, robots, shiny gadgets, food pills, geodesic domes, think nostalgia for the worlds of tomorrow we were promised yesterday but have yet to happen.

In this age of the global giant coffee-shop Starbucks (and in the UK -branches of Neros and Costa) sprouting up everywhere -that great British institution of Afternoon Tea seems to be getting edged out. We can't have that happen - so please contribute pictures of your tea time treats here. Various varieties of tea, tea cups, lovely tea pots, scones, crumpets, pikelets, cucumber sandwiches, biscuits (by which I mean cookies - not those strange 'Merikan things).

Those long winter months of cold weather, rain, drizzle, heavy fogs, thick layers of snow, slush, all nasty, nasty stuff.
This is the group pool for all those pictures which show what you hate most about winter.

groc is one of my favourite flickrites who make this place so fun. I love his pikturs and his notes! he loves birds. I love people who loves birds...
Groc is a fabulous artist/cartoonist and his photography displays his own personal artistic style and a unique wit and whimsey! It is a pleasure for me to check out his photo pool and explore his world.
groc has been shown to be an effective decay-preventive dentifrice that can be of significant value. groc is not recommended for use in the garden. groc takes good pikturs, is really funny and is a good drawerer-man! i like groc! (not recommended for ages 3-5.)
a nocturnal cartoonist friend just up the road from me who spends far too much time watching spongebob and buffy and any old scifi crap on teevee. groc is an all round sweetie who has an unhealthy obsession with photgraphing seagulls.
