I'm a designer with zero experience in photography, of any kind.

I recently purchased a Canon Rebel T1i with a 18-55mm kit lens, mostly for taking shots during the process of my work, the final products and also for video. I've also purchased a Canon 50mm 1.8.

Now that I have the time and the tools I've decided to practice and have fun, and most important learn all can. Any tips or criticism is greatly appreciated.
