Greetings. I'm the landscape photographer once, formerly, and temporarily known as The Unexplored, but who, in a fit of nostalgic madness, has reverted to his original handle...... mind, you, as I don't have an actual handle per se, erm.... oh never mind.

I've been into photography since childhood in the 1960's and 70's when I had a Kodak Instamatic. In the 80's and 90's I shot with an Olympus OM-1 and OM-2, developing my own negatives and prints using chemicals. But going digital in the 21st century has freed us up from all that laborious chemistry and made photography so much easier. We can now concentrate on composition and post processing digitally lets us create art that would never have been possible before.

I sometimes upload my shots with a large border and watermark. And I apologise for the reduced image size I display here on Flickr. This is because I've been the victim of several acts of copyright theft, and the reduced image size plus border and watermark are ways of deterring this.
