i cannot change the world on my own. and before i even start trying, why not start with something that i can change. myself. why don't i? and why don't you also? it's hard enough to change myself, imagine how harder it would be to change the world. and so i begin my change. and if maybe i manage to weed out my bad side, maybe the world too will start changing with me.

i'm gretchen/gretch/chen, your eyemd. ;-) i know nothing about what goes on inside my camera. i just shoot! the same way that i do with my life, i just constantly clear my head and seek inspiration. i write my heart out all the time. the little money i have are spent on plane tickets, theater and plenty of good food. hehe. sometimes i mess up. i welcome madness. im just a hobbyist with no intention to make money with photography. I shoot because i want to show what i see. ;-) one day i'll write a book, be famous (be rich too!) and live in new york city. =p but i think people read me so wrong, i like being imperfect and not beautiful. i admire my own strength and the everything that i've been through. im more inclined to say that all goodness should extend into every aspect of who we really are. ;-)
