Well I'm your normal country girl, working hard to make a living and doing my best to keep the bills paid!! I've always enjoyed photography, whether it be just admiring images taken by others or snapping them myself. I never persued this interest until a year ago. I saved up and bought myself a Canon Digital Rebel!! I've been having soooo much fun with it.

My plans for the future are to keep learning about photography and hopefully become good enough to start my own small side business doing it. My husband and I are in the process of building a garage right now, so we've added enough room to make me an office!! Just about everything I've learned has been self taught and learned by trial and error. My goal for this year is to shoot more images without the AUTO modes!! I really want to learn the camera insided and out.

I also own AKC registered Labs. They have filled a void in my heat and life. They are definitely hard work, but it's well worth it!! You see, for so many years during my first marriage, I tried to have a child, and after 3 miscarriages I sort of gave up. Now that I've grown older and my dogs are in my life, I don't feel that yearning and that void that I felt before. I'm thankful for them!! My oldest 2 are only 5 yrs old and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do when they're gone. I really hate to see that day and it upsets me to think that it will have to!!

I welcome everyone's comments, be it praise or constructive criticism. I also would love any tips or helpful advice to better myself out in this big world of photography!!

I've seen some magnigicent images on Flickr and when I get down on myself, which happens frequently, I just log on and get inspired!!!
