I'm drawn to photography because I can be bashful to a fault, and the camera entices me to engage with a wider world--broadly or within its minute surfaces. It's an initiation that is both unnerving and thrilling, and often, an evocative experience for me. This is particularly true with the people I photograph, whom I greatly respect. They are all such distinct and distinguished souls. I hope you enjoy what you see.
