I started working in a photolab in high school (1971) and bought my first camera from the store that was part of the operation. It was a Ricoh 35mm and that was my introduction. I continued to be interested in photography but digital really was a turning point. It facilitated doing more for less. Recently I started making an effort to try and shoot everyday. Flickr has been a great inspiration and given me motivation to polish my art and exhibit it around the world. I've met some really great photographers through this network and seen some truly inspiring photography.
