Gregory’s sculptural works have evolved from his scholarly research and practical experience of how the living human body functions and the knowledge he has gained from performing cadaver dissection. Gregory has made intensive investigations into the science of consciousness and what makes us human. His sculptural approach considers the intimacy of anatomical structures and how they communicate with the self and with others, resulting in startling, unpredictable and intriguing forms. Through his technical and material investigations, Gregory produces new elements to the language of sculpture; a language that is colourful, robust and open to all who engage with his work.
