Hi, I'm glad you made it here!

My name is Herman, and I'm a Dutch photographer. I'm currently doing my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen. I started doing photography when I got my first phone that had a camera back when I was a little kid, and I've loved taking photos of everything that happens around me ever since. When my parents bought a DSLR - the Nikon D40 - I felt obliged to learn how it works, so that I could be the family's photographer. A few years later and I've upgraded to a newer camera twice, currently using the Sony α6000 for my hobby and semi-professional work. Coming from the Nikon D40 and D5100, I don't think I can go back to using a camera that's much larger. After all, "the best camera is the one you have with you".
