Devil (David) is a photographer in the true sense of the word. His consistent high quality and attention to detail leaves most of us in the shade. I’ve known him in Flickr for around 9 months, I know he hates people, really hates them, they walk into his shots, cluttering up vast walkways and vistas of steel and glass. “Why are they here?” I can hear him shout in frustration. Don’t get him started on the funny police. Despite all of this antihuman behaviour I know he loves his family, especially his two children and I bet he is a fun dad to have. David makes me smile, at his comments. There is no anger or snobbishness in David’s remarks, he’s honest and constructive. His images are instantly recognisable, having a style of their own, yet not stuck in a genre. In years to come his images of the current feeling of urban architecture and corporate chicken coops will be a record to where we were with an unbiased PoV and technical excellence. Lastly, he is a good online friend and I wish he wasn’t so far away, so we could do some photography together once in a while.
