The Great River Economic Development Foundation exists to maintain and improve the economic vitality of Quincy and Adams County, Illinois through the retention and expansion of existing businesses and the attraction of new businesses to our communities.

Quincy is a city on the Mississippi River and county seat of Adams County, Illinois. The population of Quincy is 40,000. The community is a river city and was built on top of the bluffs. Quincy serves as the economic and cultural hub of West-Central Illinois (nearly 600,000 population) and is the primary city of the Quincy, IL–MO Micropolitan Statistical Area.
