Green River College was founded in 1965 and is a government-funded college located near Seattle. We have a beautiful campus filled with tall evergreen trees -- the perfect environment for study. Our top goal is student success. We serve more than 9,000 students, with over 950 international students from over 60 countries. Green River is ranked #13 in international student enrollment among 2-year colleges in the United States (IIE, 2024-2025) and has received many other awards and distinctions such as the prestigious Paul Simon Award for Internationalization and grant.
