Deborah Grayson Studios is my dreamworld. Art quilts and dolls have been my passion since 1993 when I began to look for a way to push my work beyond simply painting on stretched canvas (though I still do that from time to time too.) In my work I paint, dye and print on both fabric yardage and paper. I use Procion fiber-reactive dyes, acrylic paints and water based ink to produce one-of-a-kind handmade dolls, prints and painted and quilted images.

From time to time I teach quilt-making and doll-making for organizations and community centers throughout the southeastern United States. I also regularly participate in juried and invitational shows.
