Al Cole is an adviser to the World Taekwondo Movement based in South Korea and present in over 200 nations. Taekwondo is his life and his was his profession until his retirement in 2011. He began training in martial arts in 1969 at age 9, and received his Instructor's Degree in Taekwondo at the World Taekwondo Academy, KUKKIWON in Seoul, Korea, in July, 1998. Al began teaching martial arts in 1977. He started his own school in April of 1987 because he enjoys teaching.

 

In his career of more than 40 years (52 years old in 2012) Al has achieved the highest level of Taekwondo education and training, been a U.S. delegate to the Olympic Games, and spearheaded Taekwondo teams at competitions throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has been a physical education instructor for various schools and colleges and has served his profession and his community in leadership roles in international and national martial arts and Taekwondo organizations.
