Eliza couldn't get into her car no matter how hard she tried. I saw her kicking the doors and wiggling the door handles but nothing. She was locked out was in a hurry. I was about done for the day, and as the city's only Ice Cream Man, my van was almost empty anyway, so I decided to park and help her out. I had a spare wire coat hanger that was holding my astronaut costume in the back, so I jumped out of the van and offered it to her. She explained to me that she was anxious to get her door open and unlocked because her car being a convertible, the top was down and it looked like it was going to rain at any moment. Puzzled I asked her.. if the top is down, just reach over and unlock it? This concept baffled her, but as I reached over and unlocked the door, she realized this outside-the-box thinking was quite thought provoking. To thank me, she bought me a large turkeyburger and ice cream, which I found odd since I own my own ice cream truck. But nonetheless we talked about other ways of thinking outside the box creatively and we came to photography. We discussed the rules and the ways to break them. She giggled at the whole idea of being locked out of a convertible car with the top down and I told her that sometimes keeping to the rules works. And 31 years later I see that her photography has progressed into a true work of art. she photographs just about everything her own unique way, with a disregard for conventional rules. I also understand she works at a locksmith....

I have no idea who she is etc etc but what a photostream! I just finished giving a slight look to it and I'm like wow! The thing that got me was that the photos are unusually, in the good sense of the word. I love the fact she has lots of black and white shots, I love b&w. Another thing is the diverse expressivity in each photo, as they're also different from each other. Her 365 project was so, how do I say it, natural. Overall it didn't look like the photos were programmed or something and I love that. I'm going to keep a close eye on this young girl and you better do the same! :) P.S. Grael, you're even younger than me and such a great photographer. I've even seen some tips here and there. Keep on like that,girl!
