i have only known your photos for a little while, but there is something so raw and intriguing about them. when i go through your stream, i feel like i am learning a story, and i love how you aren't afraid to do different or funny stuff. your descriptions are some of the most honest and interesting i've read. your pictures seem different than a lot of my other contacts, but you are still one of my favorites. i hope you continue to take pictures, because you are a great inspiration :)

i don't think this is going to make sense, but your photos look so effortless. some photos look like someone set up a camera and a tripod and made the composition perfect and then made sure every setting was right, and edited it so it was impeccable. your photos don't, at all. which is completely lovely. they look candid, even when they're not. they're truly a poem, they're like sitting on the roof at midnight listening and whispering songs so soft you're not sure you're even singing. and also, your stream makes me go 'holy shit,' which is explains why most of my comments on your photos involve curse words.

Gracie's pictures, self portraits in particular, are very engaging (sorry for the bad cliche).. each one a bit like a piece of a story. they make you stop and look, want to piece together what the story is, but leave you wanting more. whether or not she does this intentionally, I can't say, but whatever it is, her mind and her eye and her camera make some pretty darn great magic together. Plus she's an awesome person, which makes it all even better.
