Retired Ceramic Artist ... now teaching part-time in Adult Education.

Past history…. 48 years working for Royal Doulton as a Ceramic Artist. Duties included, travelling the world (America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and parts Europe) as an International Demonstrator. This included both clay modelling and ceramic decoration, and at times, lecturing on the technical process of pottery manufacturing.

A past member of the Society of Staffordshire Artists and a contributing member of the Ceramic Artist International magazine team, also having membership of various on-line organisations and forums. Teaching qualifications include; The City & Guilds (London Institute) Further and Adult Education Teachers Certificate … and Diploma in Adult Teaching (Staffs Ed. Authority) and a member of the Institute for Learning.
