Conservation for works of art and heritage is my passion, as I believe the pieces help bring a positive image to society's identity and unity, as well as the ability to affect many viewers, who come in contact with it on a personal level.

While I usually perform photo-documentation on a conservation, where color accuracy, and the right amount light with correction is needed view an object's actuality, I enjoy using my camera in a photojournalistic point of view, especially in dance, concert, and sports photography.

Photojournalism is enjoyable in capturing the moment that will not happen again, and an art without tampering, dodging, burning, or post processing. Photoshop'ing :P

My favorite photographer is actually this colleague of mine who was a photojournalist for the school newspaper, but he didn't study photography for school. He was an aerospace engineer. His photographs are amazing. Now he is in photojournalism graduate school in Ohio. Mr. Marcus Yam (www.marcusyam.com). I also, adore the photographs of Edward Weston, Arthur Fellig (Weegee), and Henri Cartier-Bresson, and enjoy seeing the works of local photographers.
