Born and grew up in Hull suddenly becoming interested in photography at about 16.

My first camera was an Olympus OM1 which I thought was a great camera (still do). I moved into medium format, which was short lived because of the size of all the gear and the time it took to get images back from the lab.

I liked shooting transparancies but the chances of ever owning a medium format projector was less than realistic.

I sold it all and bought a Nikon auto focus piece of rubbish which I sold and bought a compact camera. That was all I owned until buying a digital compact.

I now own a Canon 30D with a 28-135 mm lens and a 10-20mm lens. I really like the 10mm setting, it's a project in its own right.

Years have past since spending any real time at photography until recently.
