Amanda is very much a *modern* aristocrat, just as comfortable changing the oil in an iPod as plucking a swan on the lawn. Her full title is: "Queen Lady Amanda, Robber Baron of Shropshite" but she prefers to be known simply as 'Toots' or 'Humpty'. You will probably be familiar with her bestselling novels: 'The Underwater Moonbase', 'The Wreck of the Abominal Snowman' and 'World War 0', but what you probably didn't know is that each is based on actual events in Amanda's early childhood on the planet Jupiter, "back when it was all fields". Her life on the gas giant was idyllic, but she was forced to leave when her record company sent her on a sell-out tour of Earth to promote her smash hit album: 'Sgt Pepper's Magical White Submarine'. It was such a success that she had no trouble raising an army to invade Shropshire, which capitulated after just 30 bloody years of hand to hand combat with laser swords and that. Having achieved everything she ever wanted, Amanda has turned her hand to photography, and bloody good she is too, as well as being funny, charming, lovely and smashing and nice and all that. Hoorah!
